White Christmas in North Carolina

We had a great Christmas with my children being home for Christmas and then we all got to enjoy the snow. I already miss them. I did fairly well with my nutrition the past few days, but it was really hard with all the temptations. I've made a large pot of veggie to eat on this week to help with any weight gain I may have. I hope everyone is enjoying their break.

Journey to me Relaxation Technique

This was similar to the relaxation techniques I have been using since my stress management class. It diffently helped to relieve alot of the tension in my shoulders after a long day of working on a computer. I have shared all this information with my fellow co workers, but I need to find if I can pass the track along to them. If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know.

It's been a slip sliding day

It has been a interesting day here in NC. We had a mix of snow earlier today that made road conditions kinda ify. But being an essential employee at the hospital, I had to slip slide my way in. Did good on my food intake today, trying my best to keep the calories at 1400 or less. But tomorrow will be my test. We are having our snack day at work for Christmas. But I know I can survive......

Welcome to my adventure!

Hello and Welcome to my blog. My name is Judy. This blog will be following my adventures in getting healthy. I will begin my blog with the fact that I am currently enrolled at Kaplan University. I am earning my Bachlor of Science in Health and Wellness.

I am currently teaching myself how to obtain my optimal fitness level. I am beginning by losing the extra pounds I have put on the past several years. So I look forward to sharing my challenging moments and my triumphs with my fellow classmates.
